SINGAPORE'S next generation of film-makers Kirsten Tan (Pop Aye), Eva Tang (The Songs We Sang), He Shuming (And The Wind Falls), Liao Jiekai (Red Dragonflies) and Jun Chong go back to basics with the omnibus 667.
Commissioned by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) and produced by Royston Tan (881), each delivers a 20-minute work about rediscovering dialect roots.
The omnibus was screened in May as part of the inaugural SCCC Cultural Extravaganza, and will be shown again this weekend before it makes its international premiere at the 22nd Busan International Film Festival in October.
