A musical that will make grown men cry
Eurythmics' Dave Stewart, who wrote the music for Ghost the Musical, says prepare to bawl your eyes out
THE pottery scene from the blockbuster romantic drama Ghost (1990) where a topless Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore seduce each other while The Righteous Brothers' Unchained Melody plays in the background is an unforgettable one for those who have seen the film.
The 1965 hit is an integral part of the movie and if it made you reach out for a tissue then, best prepare a box if you plan to catch the stage adaptation, Ghost the Musical, now playing at Marina Bay Sands.
"I don't want to give too much away but we use it three times," reveals Dave Stewart, who has written original music and lyrics for the production with fellow hit-maker Glen Ballard (Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror, Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill), "The final time it comes on, everybody will be crying!"
