Swan Lake by St Petersburg Ballet
RUSSIAN ballet companies have been making stops in Singapore in recent years - the Bolshoi Ballet performed here in 2013 and the Mariinsky Ballet was here in 2011.
Next Thursday, the St Petersburg Ballet will make its debut at Marina Bay Sands with the world's favourite ballet, Swan Lake.
The 55-member company will reprise the story of a prince who falls in love with a beautiful girl who is cursed to turn into a swan every night, scored unforgettably by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
