Hanging Up The Moon and
The Observatory
HANGING Up The Moon began as a late-night solo project for veteran singer-songwriter Sean Lam but over the course of three albums, it turned into a five-piece super-group featuring the who's who of the local indie music scene. It now comprises Alexius Cai (Piblokto), Dean Aziz (Concave Scream), Leslie Low (The Observatory) and Victor Low (Affixen).
But Lam will be going back to his roots in a solo show at indie music store Hear Records on Saturday. The session will feature selected songs off the band's albums in their original pared down states, including new ones from its latest LP Immaterial.
