AS an ex-banker, Druv Kent knows a few things about taking risks. He's since taken one himself, ditching dollar notes for music notes and pursuing his dream of being a full-time singer-songwriter.
Born Dhruv Shrikent and raised in India, he went to business school in the US and worked in financial institutions there, as well as in India and Hong Kong before moving in 2010 to Singapore, where he continues to be based.
He was bitten by the songwriting bug while looking for a new job in 2013, when the banking industry was still reeling from the aftermath of the financial crisis.
