International artists lead arts fest '16

WOULD you like to get under the blankets with a stranger as she tells you a bedtime story? How about a date with Hamlet and his family, all played by one person?

Alternatively, if you prefer a more communal experience, you could join hundreds of people as they crowd in and around a monumental installation showing nine hours of videos by the world's greatest artists including Marina Abramovich, Isaac Julien and Christian Marclay.

These morsels of temptations were offered at a sneak preview of Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) 2016. It returns in August with an array of international stars and productions. After its SG50-themed focus on Singapore arts and artists in 2015, the festival turns its attention to international artists this year.
