Let there be (sustainable) light
YOU may think you've seen all that Marina Bay has to offer. But with the return of i Light Marina Bay, Asia's leading sustainable light art festival, here's your chance to see it again in, well, a new light.
Organised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), the festival's fourth edition is set to illuminate the waterfront with more than 20 light art installations from local and international artists. And this time, five installations designed and produced by local tertiary institutions like National University of Singapore (NUS) will be featured too.
Jason Chen, festival director and director for place management at URA, says: "We are glad to be able to pass on the important message of sustainability to the younger generation."
