Wind orchestra pays tribute to Singapore
NATIONAL Day might be over but the SG50 celebrations continue with the Philharmonic Winds paying tribute to Singapore and its founding Prime Minister, the late Lee Kuan Yew.
Its upcoming concert, Singapore Compose! 2015, will feature five new pieces, all written by Singaporeans: from veterans Zechariah Goh and Robert Casteels, to young composer Terrence Wong Fei Yang, to even younger talents Gregory Gu Wei and Oh Jin Yong, whose works were selected through an open call.
