Art for ants

South African painter Lorraine Loots believes that small is beautiful. Her works depicting everyday objects, people and landscape scenes are often no bigger than a 50-cent coin; in fact, Loots says she is painting for ants.

Some 100 pieces of her work will be on display, including five original miniatures Loots has painted just for Singapore. Depicting local buildings of historical and cultural significance, these paintings will also be on sale.
