Lim Boon Keng (1868 - 1957) was one of the greatest Singaporeans who ever lived. A respected physician, he founded schools, championed education for girls and rallied public support for noble causes. Despite his good reputation, he was accused of being a spy and collaborator of the Japanese during World War II. Today he is the namesake for Boon Keng Road and Boon Keng MRT station.
