For over three years, Japanese artists Eitaro Ogawa and Tamae Iwasaki, the people behind Keyakismos; and Japanese lecturer Tomohisa Miyauchi went around Singapore taking pictures of 118 HDB homes. The trio provide a fresh insight into what may seem like mundane spaces to most Singaporeans. Homeowners in return welcomed them, and each interior is as distinct as the people who live in it. Curious folks can now see what the trio photographed in an exhibition which features selected images from the 700-page photobook.
HDB Homes of Singapore: The Photo Exhibition by Keyakismos and Tomohisa Miyauchi is at SPRMRKT, 2 McCallum Street from now till June 27. The book is also for sale at S$50.
