Plastic Pandemic
An 11m tall sculpture made from recovered ocean plastic and steel that lurks outside the ArtScience Museum is a startling reminder that there is too much plastic polluting our waters.
Brought to Asia by the NGO, Ocean Recovery Alliance, Skyscraper (The Bruges Whale), Have We Breached the Limit? is designed by architecture firm StudioKCA in New York, and saw its creators Jason Klimoski and Lesley Chang collecting plastic from the seas over four months to form the basis of the installation.
