Singapore-born scientist Wee Hong Ling was a research fellow at National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) when a friend signed her up for a pottery class in New York in 2000. Very quickly, her passion for ceramics eclipsed her love of science and she found herself switching careers.
Through her art, she has represented Singapore in various ceramics competitions around the world. Now she's returned home to present a solo exhibition titled In Flux at The Private Museum, featuring four series of ceramic works as well as new blacksmithing works.
