Singapore In Watercolour
Get into the National Day mood with the watercolour artworks of local artist Tay Zhiyong, who captures scenes of Singapore in an exhibition featuring 19 of his works. The paintings show the city through the artist's eyes, with glimpses of Amoy Street, Robinson Road and Fullerton Hotel. The self-professed "average Singaporean who happens to paint", is an art teacher by day, and apprentice of second generation Singapore artist, Leo Hee Tong. He has taken part in the 47th Singapore Watercolour Society Annual Exhibition 2016, and was recently selected as one of the finalists for the Angelico Art Award 2018. The artworks are also for sale, with a portion of the sale proceeds to be donated to DEBRA Singapore which supports patients living with congenital epidermolysis bullosa, a severe skin condition.
Moments of Singapore is held in The Fullerton Hotel Singapore's East Garden Gallery. Admission is free.
