Audi Q5 review: Still an orderly Q
A facelift for the Audi Q5 brings smoother looks and new features, but it still feels like a car put together by meticulous engineers
IF A tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? The correct answer is, who the heck cares? With no ears in attendance, it could blast thunderous waves of sonic violence like a rock god (Spruce Springsteen, perhaps?), for all anyone knows. How could it possibly matter?
That's a question that comes up when you ponder one of the facelifted Audi Q5's new features, namely, tail-lights with OLED panels (that's organic light emitting diodes, whatever those are).
That makes the Q5 the first car in the world to be so endowed, and not only do the brake lights perform a pleasant welcome dance when you unlock the car, they also light up in various patterns depending on what driving mode you happen to be in.
