TAN Pin Pin's To Singapore With Love is still out of bounds for Singaporeans, but another political documentary will return for an encore screening.
Jason Soo's 1987: Untracing the Conspiracy will be shown next Wednesday, after first playing to a sell-out crowd last November as part of the Freedom Film Fest 2105's line-up.
The R21-rated documentary, which won Best Southeast Asian Feature at the event, puts the spotlight on Operation Spectrum, in which 22 people were arrested by the Internal Security Department in 1987 for an alleged Marxist plot to overthrow the Singapore government.
