Beat The Heat

Nobody likes the current heatwave, but look at it also as an excuse to down another iced coffee. Especially since Nespresso has created two new limited editions (S$8.80 each for a sleeve of ten capsules) - the Ispirazione Salentina and Ispirazione Shakerato - that are designed to be enjoyed cold. The former is bold with a smooth and round texture that reveals nutty aromas with roasted notes; while the latter is full bodied with cocoa aromas and long lasting roasted notes. Nespresso recommends the Ispirazione Salentina be enjoyed using the Caffè Alla Salentina recipe where almond or cow's milk is added with cane syrup. As for the Ispirazione Shakerato, its makers recommend adding sugar and three cubes of ice and then shaking it. A Nomad Bottle (S$30) that is insulated with double-wall vacuum has also been introduced so you can enjoy your iced coffee on the go all summer.
