If you can't fly to London to watch great performances at the National Theatre because of your hectic schedule, London's National Theatre is coming to you. This weekend, the Esplanade is screening three films of acclaimed plays that were recorded before live audiences in London.

The first is Harold Pinter's No Man's Land, an exquisite exploration of power and sexuality starring Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart. The second is Mary Shelley's horror classic Frankenstein which gets a stage version directed by Danny Boyle and starring Benedict Cumberbatch. The third and last is The Audience (pictured) which centres on Queen Elizabeth II's (played by Helen Mirren) relationship with 12 British Prime Ministers over the years. Tickets are available from Sistic.
