ART lovers, rejoice. This weekend, Singapore’s biggest celebration of art returns with more than 130 events across the city.

In Friday’s edition of BT Lifestyle, we bring you our guide to the very best shows, including philanthropist Pierre Lorinet’s star-spangled exhibition featuring stunning works by top artists from his private collection. Also, look forward to Robert Zhao’s expanded version of his show at the Venice Biennale 2024 which has now doubled in size at the Singapore Art Museum, a showcase of excellent works from long-time gallerist Richard Koh’s personal collection, and many more.

On top of these, there’s also the flagship fair Art SG featuring international galleries such as Gagosian, White Cube and Lehmann Maupin, as well as the smaller fair SEA Focus with its emphasis on South-east Asian galleries. Without a doubt, it’s going to be a mega feast for the eyes.

Speaking of visual delights, there’s also a report from Shanghai on jewellery brand Bvlgari’s debut art exhibition in the Chinese city – an immersive experience to celebrate its most successful icon, the Serpenti. Just in time for the Chinese Year of the Snake, the exhibition features 28 artworks by Chinese and international artists, including 11 which were created exclusively for the occasion. Also on show are the brand’s heritage and newly unveiled Serpenti creations.

There’s also a feast of the edible kind, as we check out Binomio, the stalwart Spanish restaurant which has moved to new and bigger premises in Raffles Arcade, serving everything from croqueta to paella. Find out more in this Friday’s issue of The Business Times.
