Bringing cheer to the elderly

DBS employees, including CEO Piyush Gupta, on Friday brought some 40 senior beneficiaries from social service organisation Lions Befrienders (LB) on a sponsored grocery shopping trip.

The trip celebrates the seniors' completion of an active-ageing programme conducted by DBS employee volunteers, who also provided reusable grocery bags as a greener alternative to plastic bags. DBS has also donated S$105,000 in Sheng Siong vouchers to LB's senior beneficiaries.
