    THE FULLERTON HOTEL SINGAPORE

    Inspired by tradition, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore unveils The Fullerton Classics Mooncake Collection – combining heritage and artistry in myriad flavours and gift presentations. 

    Look forward to the debut of the Low Sugar Mung Bean with Custard Baked Mooncake, where golden custard seeps luxuriously into smooth mung bean paste. Beloved classics return in lighter forms – the Low Sugar White Lotus Seed Paste baked mooncakes with single or double yolks, and the Premium Mixed Nuts Baked Mooncake, fragrant with toasted seeds, dried fruits and a touch of spice.

    The presentation is as elegant as the flavours. Drawer-style boxes in pastel cream and blush are adorned with the Fullerton Building’s gilded facade, framed by blooming peonies. The Baked Classics Gift Set (S$95 net) gathers all four flavours, while individual four-piece selections (S$92 to S$95 net) allow for more personal indulgence.

    The whimsical Letterbox (S$68 net) returns as well, its pair of mooncakes nestled inside a crimson postbox tin – a nod to the building’s past as Singapore’s first General Post Office.

    Chinese executive chef Leong Chee Yeng of Jade lends his artistry to the Jade 15 Treasures Premium Gift Set (S$218 net), where a grand white lotus mooncake filled with eight yolks is encircled by 14 petite creations in flavours such as jasmine, osmanthus and green tea, each stamped with celestial motifs.

    He also presents the Jade Mini Snow Skin Mooncake Tingkat (S$98 net), with playful new fillings like velvety cream cheese and nostalgic chocolate chip, housed in a floral tiffin carrier that embodies the joy of reunion under the full moon.

    Tradition meets whimsy at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore, which unveils a collection of handcrafted mooncakes presented in exquisite musical gift boxes – available in striking turquoise or elegant gold. Each is adorned with floral motifs and designed to be repurposed as a jewellery case, ensuring that the joy of the festive season continues indefinitely.

    For those who revere tradition, the classic baked selection offers comfort and nostalgia in every bite. The signature White Lotus Seed Paste with Egg Yolk Mini Baked Mooncakes (S$96 net) deliver a smooth, velvety lotus paste balanced by the savoury depth of golden yolk. 

    New this year are the White Lotus Seed Paste with Macadamia Nuts Mini Baked Mooncakes (S$96 net) – where roasted nuttiness lends a delicate sweetness – and the crunchy Mixed Nuts Mini Baked Mooncakes (S$96 net). A perennial favourite, the Lava Custard Mini Baked Mooncakes (S$102 net) return with their flaky crust yielding to a luscious molten centre.

    Equally enchanting are the snowskin creations. Returning stars include the Champagne Truffle Mini Snowskin Mooncakes (S$98 net), with their luxurious boozy finish, and the Mao Shan Wang Durian (S$110 net) version, rich with the king of fruits’ creamy intensity. 

    For lighter palates, the Yuzu Osmanthus Mini Snowskin Mooncakes (S$98 net) offer a refreshing blend of citrus tang and floral sweetness. Making their debut this year are the indulgent Rum & Raisin Snowskin Mooncakes (S$106 net), where soft, chewy snowskin encases creamy chocolate, plump raisins and a whisper of rum.

    Meanwhile, signature baked classics reign, with highlights such as White Lotus Paste with Double Yolk with Macadamia Nuts (S$86+ for four), rich with nutty fragrance, and Seeds of Harmony (S$88+ for four), a medley of premium nuts in golden pastry. Snowskin favourites return with White Lotus Paste & Champagne Ganache (S$78+ for eight mini mooncakes), where smooth lotus meets a dash of champagne.

    New creations add flair to the line-up. The Hong Kong-inspired Baked Custard with Melon Seeds (S$80+ for four) offers a velvety custard with a nutty crunch, while snowskin innovations include Red Date Lotus Paste & Passion Fruit Ganache (S$78+ for eight), Coffee with Crunchy White Pearl (S$78+ for eight), and Matcha Ganache (S$78+ for eight).

    Shangri-la Singapore’s new Mid-Autumn collection is titled “Moonlit City, Heartfelt Shangri-La”, bringing together elegance, creativity and heartfelt meaning. The line-up combines timeless baked classics with imaginative creations, playful collaborations and luxurious gift sets designed to delight every generation.

    A highlight this year is the renewed collaboration with home-grown brand Udders Ice Cream. Presented in a vibrant two-tier tin that transforms into an insulated lunch bag, the whimsical set (S$96 net) features Muah Chee Snowskin Mooncakes with chewy nuttiness and Chendol Snowskin Mooncakes perfumed with pandan and gula melaka.

    In a unique alcoholic twist, Shangri-la Singapore has unique creations for cocktail enthusiasts. Don’t miss the Origin Bar Mid-Autumn Gift Set (S$128 net), featuring Carrot Cake and Tea-ramisu Mooncakes inspired by the bar’s signature drinks, complete with a sleek Negroni flask. From Shang Palace, executive Chinese chef Daniel Cheung presents Red Date Pumpkin Seed with Bird’s Nest Mooncakes (S$140 net) encased in a lacquered red box.

    Health-conscious customers are not left out, with options that include plant-based mooncakes (S$86 net) in Oolong Pomegranate Tea and Matcha Red Bean Mochi flavours.

    The Shangri-La Mooncake Selection Gift Box (S$149 net) showcases four artisanal flavours, including a prized 50-year-aged mandarin peel creation, in a box that transforms into a glowing lantern.
