Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Reverso line gets an epic glow-up
Legends never fade; they evolve. The iconic Reverso collection welcomes nine new members to the family in 2025
IT SURPRISED US WHEN JAEGER-LECOULTRE revealed that its iconic Reverso collection was going to be the focus for 2025. After all, this isn’t a milestone year for the line that was birthed in 1931.
This approach, it turns out, is the result of former chief executive officer Jerome Lambert returning to the helm; his initial tenure from 2002 to 2013 was marked by numerous notable product launches and service initiatives.
At a time when the luxury goods market is shifting towards timelessness and investment-grade options, doubling down on heritage to strengthen the brand’s identity simply makes good sense. The Reverso, a watch with enduring appeal, is a natural centrepiece of this strategy.
Ergo, firing on all cylinders, Jaeger-LeCoultre added no less than nine new models – plus different iterations of those models – to the Reverso family this year.
Reverso Tribute Minute Repeater
The new Reverso Tribute Minute Repeater builds on the brand’s past two decades of technical achievements to deliver wonderfully sonorous chimes.
Powered by the newly developed calibre 953, this manual-winding movement incorporates trebuchet hammers, crystal gongs, and a silent-interval elimination mechanism, ensuring seamless, resonant chimes. With a 48-hour power reserve, it defies expectations for such a power-hungry complication.

The front dial features radiant teal grand feu enamel layered over hand-guilloched, barley-seed patterns that create mesmerising optical illusions. Flip it over to reveal the open-worked reverse dial, where cantilevered indices float above the intricately finished repeater mechanism. The bridges, adorned with brushed, grained and lacquered surfaces, add depth and elegance.
Encased in pink gold and paired with a black alligator strap, this 12.6 mm marvel is limited to just 30 pieces.

Reverso Tribute Geographic
Frequent fliers looking to level up their watch game can consider the new Reverso Tribute Geographic. This manual-winding timepiece introduces a unique twist to the world timer mechanism: static city names paired with a rotating 24-hour ring for enhanced legibility.
Housed on the back dial, the world time display is set on three levels. A lacquered and laser-engraved map, surrounded by engraved city names and a rotating day-night ring, creates remarkable depth and artistry.
The front dial, finished in rich blue (steel) or warm chocolate (pink gold), exudes understated sophistication, with a patented grande date display, polished frames and a circular small seconds subdial complementing its geometry.
Powered by the in-house calibre 834 and presented with Casa Fagliano-designed interchangeable straps, this stunner is available in steel or as a limited edition of 150 pink gold pieces.
Price: S$48,400 (pink gold); S$29,200 (steel)
Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179
Among Jaeger-LeCoultre’s most striking technical accomplishments during Lambert’s initial tenure was the gyrotourbillon (circa 2004), a tourbillon that rotates on multiple axes instead of one. In 2025, the brand unveils the fourth-generation gyrotourbillon, an absolute showstopper.
Its titanium inner cage rotates every 16 seconds, while the peripheral carriage completes a full revolution each minute, doubling as a small seconds display. Suspended by ball bearings and reflected against a polished blue lacquer disc, the tourbillon appears to float between the watch’s dual dials.
Elsewhere, the front dial showcases Art Deco-inspired white gold latticework over deep blue lacquer, while the reverse skeletonised dial highlights hand-applied lacquer and chamfering. Here you’ll also find a useful complication – a second time zone with 24-hour indication. Housed in an 18-karat white gold case, the watch is limited to just 10 pieces.

Reverso Tribute Enamel “Shahnameh”
Forget non-fungible tokens on your smartwatch; how about a painstakingly handcrafted artistic masterpiece on your wrist instead? This Reverso edition, which has four variations, is layered with meaning, too.
Inspired by the 16th-century Shah Tahmasp edition of the Shahnameh, each case back features a reproduction of illustrations from this Persian epic, rendered in miniature enamel painting.
The watch is a hat tip to the art of miniature painting, which originated in Persia. And because the sport of polo was also invented in Persia, it celebrates the origins of the Reverso itself.
These intricate artworks, reduced from their original 48 x 32 cm size to just 2 sq cm, require over 100 hours of meticulous craftsmanship. The front dials showcase vibrant grand feu enamel over hand-guilloched patterns, while paillonnage adds delicate gold leaf accents. Limited to 10 pieces each.

Reverso One “Precious Flowers”
Two new models join the Reverso One “Precious Flowers” family this year: green arums and purple arums. The flowers are better known as calla lilies. Housed in 18-karat pink gold cases, these 10-piece limited editions showcase grand feu champleve enamelling and intricate diamond setting.
Green arums feature lush green enamel foliage accented by 409 diamonds, while purple arums dazzle with purple, pink, and green enamel blooms wrapped around the case, adorned with over 630 diamonds.
Both models feature mother-of-pearl dials, diamond-set gadroons and lugs, and a reverse-set diamond in the crown. They are powered by the hand-wound calibre 846 with a 50-hour power reserve.

Reverso One “Precious Colours”
The Reverso One “Precious Colours” is a dazzling tribute to Art Deco design – the period when the Reverso was birthed.
This 10-piece limited edition features an 18-karat white gold case adorned with 277 diamonds (1.59 carats) and zesty grand feu enamel patterns in six shades – grey, mauve, pink, purple, white and yellow.
The enamel work requires up to 60 hours and 15 firings at 800°C, followed by 40 hours of gem-setting, creating optical illusions of depth and movement. Note how the pattern wraps around the case sides.
Its mother-of-pearl dial is framed by enamelled motifs and diamond-set gadroons. A hand-wound movement with a 50-hour power reserve drives this groovy little number.

Reverso Tribute Nonantieme “Enamel”
Business in the front, party in the back must be the Reverso Tribute Nonantieme Enamel’s catchphrase. While the dial side presents a sophisticated visage of a grande date display and small seconds against a grey sunray backdrop, the reverse side unfolds like a celestial tapestry, with a deep blue enamel night sky adorned with golden stars and engraved latitude lines.
Additionally, two overlapping apertures reveal a semi-jumping digital hour display and a rotating minute disc, accompanied by a polished sun-and-moon day-night indicator. Limited to 90 pieces, this 18-karat pink gold timepiece is powered by the in-house calibre 826.

Reverso Tribute Monoface ‘Or Deco’
There’s something to be said about the striking elegance and simplicity of a tone-on-tone colour scheme. On the Reverso Tribute Monoface ‘Or Deco’, it makes the watch look more like a piece of jewellery – and, by extension, somehow more precious.
With a case hewn from 18-karat pink gold and a matching Milanese bracelet, plus a grained gold dial sporting a small seconds display, this timepiece makes an impact whether you’re leading an important strategy meeting or attending a swanky fundraiser. Who said quiet luxury was dead?

Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds
Speaking of timelessness, it’s hard to go wrong with a dual time watch like the Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds. Available in stainless steel, this model features two distinct dials powered by the hand-wound calibre 854, offering a 42-hour power reserve.
The front dial comes in either deep black or vivid blue with a sunray-brushed finish, achieved through 24 layers of lacquer for exceptional depth. The reverse dial showcases a silver sunray-brushed background with a second time zone and a 24-hour day-night indicator.
The watch is paired with two interchangeable straps by Casa Fagliano – one in leather and canvas, and the other in calfskin – matching the dial colour.
