    “GO BIG OR GO HOME!” is set to be the mantra of womenswear this season, with striking colours, silhouettes and textures taking centre stage. Gwyneth Paltrow might have stolen the last news cycle with a moment of quiet luxury, but Spring/Summer 2023 is set to be all about bright, bold and look-at-me ensembles.

    Still, brands are focusing their attention on balance and wearability. No more are the exaggerated explosions that peppered the runways of years past; instead, this season brings a controlled chaos, an equilibrium between the exciting and the practical. In other words, you won’t need to worry about re-fluffing a massive tulle skirt or adjusting a pair of sky-high shoulder pads.
