MODERN TRAVEL TAKES ON MANY forms these days. From round-the-world trips to eco-journeys and immersive experiences, Rolex never fails to keep travellers on time wherever they are.

Whether it is a multiple-time-zone watch, a sporty adventure timepiece or something dressy for fancy galas, there’s something for everyone.

Often associated with prosperity, success and timeless elegance, green has become an emblematic signature for Rolex. This distinctive colour appears in five Oyster Perpetual creations here for you to choose from.

With its distinctly coloured 24-hour hand displaying the home time and the local time, this white gold GMT-Master II has an easy-to-read ceramic dial that comes in an exclusive shade of green, available only for this model.

In the first time zone, home time is read on the gradations of the bidirectional green and black Cerachrom bezel, while the local time is simply set via the winding crown. The hour hand can be adjusted forward or backward independent of the minute and second hands for precision.

This new 18 ct white gold model in the GMT-Master II collection is designed for lefties, although it can easily be worn by the right-handed. The crown and crown guard are found on the left side of the 40 mm case, which is strapped on the right wrist; the date aperture and the cyclops lens are at 9 o’clock. The crown is on the right side of the case for most watches, while the date and lens are at 3 o’clock.

    Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 40

Coming from Rolex’s most prestigious collection, the Day-Date 40 is a perfect dress watch for a formal occasion anywhere. Like all Day-Date models, which are available only in precious metals, this one is wrapped in full 18 ct Everose gold, including the bracelet.

Introduced in 2005, Everose gold is a patented 18 ct pink gold alloy created by Rolex and cast in its foundry. It is used on all Rolex Oyster models in pink gold.

The case of the Day-Date 40 frames an olive green dial in a sunray finish. It is crowned with a gold Rolex fluted bezel – a mark of distinction. Originally, the fluting of the Oyster bezel served to screw the bezel onto the case to keep the watch waterproof. Over time, it became an aesthetic element and a Rolex signature feature.

The Day-Date 40 is paired with a President bracelet, created in 1956 for the launch of the original collection. Advanced high technology, including stringent tests, are involved in the design, development and production of the President bracelet, which features semicircular three-piece links.

    Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller

The elegant Sky-Dweller not only has a dual-time function, it also boasts an annual calendar. Like in other Sky-Dwellers, a fixed inverted red triangle on the mint green dial points to a chosen reference time – the home time – on the off-centre 24-hour disc. At a glance, the 24-hour display clearly tells daytime hours apart from nighttime ones in the other time zone.

A deep red rectangle in one of the 12 windows around the dial shows the current month. No adjustment is needed for the date at the end of the 30 days. The annual calendar displays the correct date throughout the year, with just one tweak necessary – on Mar 1 (February having only 28 or 29 days). The date of the local time automatically changes according to the traveller’s local time zone.

The Sky-Dweller has a Ring Command system that is fitted with a mechanism of interaction between the rotating bezel, winding crown and movement. It allows the watch’s functions to be selected one by one, and to set them easily, quickly and securely.

The Sky-Dweller comes in a relatively large 42 mm case, in Oystersteel or precious metals. It is worn on an Oyster bracelet with a patented Easylink rapid extension system that can increase the bracelet length by about 5 mm.

    Oyster Perpetual 41

Crafted from Oystersteel, including the Oyster bracelet, this sturdy timepiece is ideal for everyday wear – and travelling. Oystersteel is developed by Rolex and comes from the 904L steel family. The latter is most commonly used in high technology and the aerospace and chemical industries, where maximum resistance to corrosion is essential. Extremely resistant, it features an exceptional finish once polished – and its beauty is maintained even in the harshest environments.

The Oyster Perpetual 41 is powered by a Rolex movement – calibre 3230 – nestled in its 41 mm case, which frames a cool pistachio dial. Introduced in 2020, the automatic movement is the basis of several patents. It offers exceptional precision, power reserve (approximately 70 hours), resistance to shocks and magnetic fields, convenience and reliability.

Calibre 3230 also incorporates the patented Chronergy escapement, which is highly energy efficient and very dependable.

    Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona

This chronograph comes in handy during sporty pursuits while travelling, and even while spectating motor races.

The Cosmograph Daytona model is dressed in full 18 ct yellow gold, including the Oyster bracelet. The 40 mm case flaunts a striking green and gold dial with three spray-coated counters. On the case is an 18 ct yellow gold bezel engraved with a tachymetric scale.

More than just aesthetic, the tachymetric scale, counters and pushers on the case are designed to make the Cosmograph Daytona the ultimate tool for endurance racing drivers. The average speed over a given distance, based on elapsed time, can be read clearly on the tachymetric scale, which is ideal for measuring speeds up to 400 units per hour, expressed in kilometres or miles.
