FRENCH LUXURY MAISON, Van Cleef & Arpels' iconic Perlée collection has just been joined by six new sweet clovers creations that reflect the line's joyful, sparkling spirit - and who doesn't want some of that?

First introduced in 2008, the collection is known for its signature golden beads, which are individually worked on by hand before being meticulously polished for a mesmerising shine. The Perlée collection itself has deep roots in Van Cleef & Arpels' history, with the golden pearls appearing in the maison's creations since the 1920s.

Of course, diamonds embedded in these gleaming treasures are also selected according to the strictest criteria, with D to F for colour and IF to VVS for clarity.

Today, this feminine and playful collection encompasses rings, bracelets, pendants, earrings and watches, including the four-leaf clover-inspired Alhambra collection, into which the traditional gold beading technique was incorporated in 1968.

The latest additions comprise three new Perlée sweet clovers bracelets, along with matching rings, crafted in yellow, white and rose gold.

These refined and radiant pieces offer a fresh take on the collection's rounded style. With an outline of golden beads, they draw inspiration from the first Perlée clovers creations - but in a ''sweet'' version that emanates a more light-hearted feel.

For the first time, the bracelets' shimmering ribbon is enhanced with 10 clover motifs, while the rings are adorned with five. Each clover features a central golden bead surrounded by four round diamonds. The motifs blend delicately into the piece, resulting in a subtle interplay of light and volume.

Worn in twos or threes, the bracelets twirl around the wrist in a happy dance, while the rings follow the movements of the hand with a lively sparkle.

The new Perlée sweet clovers pieces are also well-matched with Van Cleef & Arpels' other jewellery lines to create personal style statements.
