During this Covid-19 crisis, many corporations are battling high anxiety and stress among employers. As a boss, employee and/or individual, what can you do to manage your own stress levels to function more effectively during these difficult times?

Maria Micha, a Greece-born Singapore-based psychologist with over 20 years of counseling corporates, has been receiving an unprecedented number of calls from her clients facing work-related stress and anxiety.

In this first episode of a new corporate mental health series created for The Business Times, she offers simple tips for the individual to cope with the psychological challenges of Covid-19.

She teaches a breathing exercise, as well as a visualisation technique to help you counter work-and family-related stress. No good can come from anxiety; and if you're unable to mitigate it, your circumstances may deteriorate further.

In the second episode debuting later this week, she will address managers on how to help their staff cope with Covid-19 anxiety.
