AMERICAN artist Charles Fazzino's art just pops out at you.

It's a deliberate method that he uses, not that the colours aren't vibrant or his portrayal of Singapore city mind-bogglingly chockful of details. But his works-on-the-wall have a three dimensional effect, thanks to the fact the objects in the work are cut out and pasted on, layer by layer and embellished, sometimes with Swarovski crystals.

"My process is unique, but I begin just like every other artist. I create a concept drawing and make it tighter until it is a complete drawing of the artwork I want to create," he explains.
