Certis’ senior leaders pack gift bags for needy children
SIXTY-FIVE senior leaders from integrated security organisaiton Certis recently spent a day packing school bags filled with stationery and healthy snacks for children and youths from low-income families in Singapore.
This corporate social responsibility activity, held in conjunction with the company’s leadership retreat, was organised in support of Beyond Social Services (BSS). BSS is a charity dedicated to helping children and youth from less privileged backgrounds break away from the poverty cycle.
Certis president and group CEO Paul Chong and other senior management from Certis’ offices in Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong picked and purchased the school bags and the items. They helped to pack everything and delivered the presents - 72 gift bags in all - to BSS’ community volunteer team at Yishun, which were then distributed to beneficiaries aged between 10 and 18 years old.
