MANY of those who attended the recent football friendly between Singapore and world No 2 Argentina at the National Stadium tried their best to predict the South American powerhouse's margin of victory over the Lions.

When banter gave way to bravado, some even picked Argentina to win by double figures. In the end, Argentina emerged with a 6-0 win, but the scoreline could have been wider, with Singapore taking just one clear shot at goal during the 90 minutes.
