The founders of Japanese lifestyle store atomi, Andrew Tan and Mitsuko Murano, recently welcomed their first child, a baby girl. Naturally, this explains why the store is now stocked with Japanese-made kid's furniture.

Hailing from Fukuoka, Hiromatsu's range is made entirely of wood, and features whimsical designs such as the Rabbit chair and a bookshelf shaped like a row of houses.

The collection also includes sideboards, desk sets and chairs, and are mostly made of hinoki wood. Prices start from S$480 for a chair.
