Chinese MMA star has her eyes on the prize

Xiong Jingnan will give Singapore's Tiffany Teo a stern challenge in their strawweight championship bout

    FOR Singaporean mixed martial arts (MMA) competitor Tiffany Teo, the only obstacle standing in her way of her first world championship is a Chinese poster girl who's adored not just for her tomboy-ish looks but her mean streak in the cage.

    Xiong Jingnan, a national boxing champion from China, will square off against Teo in the main event of this Saturday's One Championship: Kings of Courage event in Jakarta for the right to be crowned the organisation's first women's strawweight world champion.
