If you're a fan of Mandarin Orchard's famous Chatterbox chicken rice despite the price tag, the Circuit Breaker is a reason for you to indulge - at half the price. In fact, the discount applies to just about everything on the menu of Chatterbox as well as the two Michelin-starred Shisen Hanten when you make a takeaway or delivery order during this period. Dig into the signature chicken rice at S$13.50, along with other local favourites such as fried Hokkien noodles, char kway teow or beef hor fun at S$14 each. Shisen Hanten's famed mapo doufu also goes for half price at S$13, while a whole London roast duck costs S$40, which is much less than what you'll pay anywhere else.
