Luxury bakes
If you've been eyeing a Wolf oven for your home, you might well be convinced if you get a taste of what you could bake if you get one. The brand's Singapore distributor has just launched Bakedbywolf, an online-only pastry shop that offers a range of cakes, pastries and macarons made by resident pastry chef Tony Pangetsu. The idea is to showcase to home cooks the versatility of Wolf appliances and, if you want to up your pastry game, chef Tony offers tips and recipes on its Instagram account @bakedbywolf.
Otherwise, enjoy some classy pastries in its afternoon tea box (S$40) which includes slices of nostalgic buttercream vanilla cake - a rich buttery cake sandwiched with jam that takes you straight back to the old-fashioned cake shops of your youth; chocolate and plum tarts with perfect cookie crusts; and a matcha choux puff. You can order whole cakes as well from S$82, and delivery is free for orders above S$90. The order form can be found on Bakedbywolf's Instagram handle. - by Jaime Ee
