THEY don't call Paris the City of Light - and Love - for nothing. It's enough to even spark a musical bromance between Singapore's King of Swing Jeremy Monteiro and Hong Kong jazz guitarist maestro Eugene Pao.
The results can be heard on the duo's new collaboration titled, what else but, To Paris With Love. They will be launching and performing the album in full at a concert next week at the newly refurbished Victoria Concert Hall.
The idea was conceptualised a few years ago when both Monteiro and Pao were touring the French capital together, and revived after they played a private concert there again last year. Needless to say, the sights, sounds and energy of Paris inspired the music on the album.
