OMAR Amir of Mediocre Haircut Crew (MHC) is still reeling from the news his group will be part of this year's Singapore International Jazz Festival's (SingJazz) line-up.
The local hip-hop trio is part of the second round of acts unveiled on Thursday evening at a pop event where MHC also gave a sneak peek of their livewire performance.
Other bands announced include legendary British funk band Level 42; Mexican composer and Berklee College of Music alumnus Hector Infanzon; and Russian trumpeter Vadim Eilenkrig. The latter is known for being the trumpet mentor of Pink Floyd's Roger Waters.
