THERE may not be Marina Bay fireworks this year, but Singapore's glittering skyline is still a sight worth greeting the new year with.
That's the thought behind the special seatings at Smoke & Mirrors this New Year's Eve. From its perch on the rooftop of the National Gallery, the bar boasts a panoramic view of the Padang, with Marina Bay in the background and city skyscrapers to the south.
The view also lends itself to events such as a "moonbathing" tie-up with Hendrick's Lunar Gin, says assistant bar manager Mel Chavez.
