Coming home for Christmas
“I’ll be home for Christmas” may be something Bing Crosby always wanted to be, but it doesn’t seem to be a sentiment shared by most Singaporeans, who will be spending the festivities somewhere else in the world.
But while the travel bug has hit hard, there are still some sentimental souls who believe in being with their loved ones right here in their own backyard.
In Friday’s issue of BT Lifestyle, get into the Christmas spirit as we speak to four business personalities who, despite their own hectic travel schedules, have made it a point to be in Singapore at this time. Rachel Lim of Love Bonito, Loh Lik Peng of Unlisted Collection, Linus Lim of Phillip Capital and his art collector wife Ning Chong, and Choe Peng Sum of Pan Pacific Hotels Group take a moment to reflect on the past year and share their Christmas plans.
Meanwhile, if you’re still doing some last-minute Christmas shopping, check out our list of eco-conscious gift ideas that will delight those on your list as well as do the planet some good.
In Dining, get a taste of mod-Asian flavours at Imbue, a new fine-dining eatery on Keong Saik Road. For all this and more get your issue of Friday’s BT.
