Communal cooking
Tay Suan Chiang
A first of its kind in Singapore, the OUE Social Kitchen is designed as a communal space or "co-cooking space" for friends, families, and strangers to meet and cook at a common table.
The 4,000 sq ft kitchen at the new Downtown Gallery features two VIP rooms and six standard stations, as well as two halal-friendly stations, available for hire by the hour. Customers get to use a full range of kitchen appliances from Smeg, such as state-of-the-art gas and induction hobs, while small appliances and other paraphernalia are supplied by the kitchen. You can bring your own pre-packed ingredients and there's also an in-house chef and staff to provide assistance, cooking tips, and best of all, clean-up services.
Rates start at S$45 per hour for a standard kitchen station and from S$150 per hour for the VIP rooms. OUE Social Kitchen, is located at #03-02/03, OUE Downtown Gallery.
