Considering a lab-grown diamond? You’ll be spoilt for choice
The fact that these stones can be produced in various colours and cut into any shape makes versatility their hallmark
NATURAL diamond loyalists may sneer at the prospect of purchasing lab-grown versions. But these stones made in controlled environments have their share of fans. In fact, lab-grown diamonds (LGDs) are estimated to make up a fifth of the total diamond market today.
We take a look at some fine LGD specimens available at local jewellers:
JannPaul Diamonds
This bridal collection features JannPaul’s White Series Marquise X diamonds on a necklace and matching earrings. The blue in these LGDs is pure and vivid, without any grey or green overtones. The collar-style necklace is adorned with a cascading arrangement of marquise and round-cut blue diamonds on one end, and a sleek, curved band of pave-set diamonds on the other. This necklace-and-earrings set is priced from S$19,700.
