Dancefloor Bangers
Adrian Wee aka @weelikeme and Robin Chua @KidG have been spinning indie and alternative rock music at nightspots and festivals as Poptart since 2004. The duo are playing their first club show of the year on Saturday at Canvas and if you want to get into the mood, check out some of Poptart's previous mixes which Wee has archived on the Mixcloud website and app.
Our favourite is an all-local one which contains classics from homegrown acts new and old, first broadcast on the now-defunct radio station Lush 99.5 on National Day in 2016. It even includes a bonus track and can be downloaded for your offline listening pleasure. Don't say we 'bo jio'.
March 24, from 10pm, S$20 (includes first drink). Canvas Club is located at 20 Upper Circular Road, #B1-01, The Riverwalk. For more information, check @eatmepoptart on social media.
