Delectable treats
BT readers can expect special treatment at Winestone, the modern-European restaurant and late-night bar and wine store by Mercure Singapore on Stevens. You get a 20 per cent discount for food items from a recently refreshed menu with 15 new items that reflect a delightful European epicurean twist.
The delectable choice includes an array of appetisers, dishes from the farm and sea, and a taste of Italy. One of the new dishes is the Pan-Seared Cod Fish, a golden brown gleaming cod, surrounded by a bed of sautéed spinach, soaked in a light fish velouté with fresh clam juice, and finished off with generous squeeze of a lemon.
The plush Rigatoni Prawn is served with a generous amount of fresh sea prawns that are tossed with rigatoni and roasted capsicums in a rich-tempered tomato parmesan sauce. It combines the tangy flavours of a rich sauce, accompanied with al dente pasta and crunchy prawns. A "vegetarian alternative" version of this dish is made available upon request.
