BUDDING SCREENWRITER Nathan Yong, founder of Nathan Yong Design
Industrial designer Nathan Yong has built an illustrious career designing furniture, but in the future, his clients may well catch an award-winning film by him.
Mr Yong has been working on a screenplay since the circuit breaker started. "The world seems to be on pause mode now, and this is the best opportunity to focus on what I've always wanted to pursue without distractions from other projects," he says.
He works in his backyard home office - fashioned out of a shipping container - where he spends each morning crafting the dialogue in his screenplay.
He declines to reveal too much about the plot except that it is about two people who find love in the most unexpected ways…
