From Singapore to Milan

A preview of Singapore-based designers' works at Milan Design Week.

WITH MAJOR EVENTS around the world cancelled or postponed because of the Covid-19 outbreak, it's no surprise that Milan Design Week has been pushed to June from its original date in April. It may still be postponed further or even cancelled outright, but it hasn't stopped Singapore-based designers from preparing for it.

Local furniture brand, IndustryPlus is one of them. It's going ahead with its Eclecticism showcase - a joint project with a group of designers and architects to put a spotlight on Singapore's unique cosmopolitan design style. The good news is that, even if they or other designers don't get to show in Milan, many of their works are available for sale in Singapore.
