The Red Dot Award: Design Concept celebrates innovative ideas and disruptive concepts

In the near future, instead of electric scooters, city folks may zip around town on the Motoroid, an electric motorcycle that employs artificial intelligence and Yamaha-exclusive technologies aimed at creating a whole new personal mobility experience.
Motoroid is currently at prototype stage, but it has already won over the Red Dot Award jury with its concept, winning the Luminary top prize at this year's Red Dot Award: Design Concept competition.
"Red Dot Award: Design Concept has been an indicator for the future of product and communication design from electric and autonomous driving cars to smart technologies and robotics," says founder and CEO of Red Dot, Prof Dr Peter Zec. "Only in this internationally unique competition is it possible to offer the ideas of tomorrow a professional framework."
