Known as the purveyor of "the most fabulous jewels in the world", British luxury jewellery maker Graff Diamonds has opened its first store in Singapore at ION Orchard. Founded in 1960 by self-taught gemologist Laurence Graff when he was just 22 years old, the brand is renowned for acquiring rare and brilliant cut diamonds, and boasts a royal clientele from Britain to Brunei. Now, it has more than 50 stores worldwide. Graff's Chief Executive Officer of Graff Diamonds Francois Graff (son of Laurence Graff), says of its latest project, "Singapore holds a special place in Graff's history. It is an important retail destination and we are delighted to be opening our first flagship store here. We look forward to presenting our rare jewels and timepieces to Singapore's discerning clientele." The new Graff Singapore store, which is also the first in Southeast Asia, occupies an impressive 2,330 sq.ft on the second floor of ION Orchard. With exclusive pieces and a VIP room, well-heeled shoppers will feel right at home.
