A designer Christmas
What some architects are getting up to for Christmas.

Typically I would spend the festive season at home in Hong Kong as I would be exhausted from all the travelling and work during the year. I enjoy spending time with my family for a quiet moment to look back at the year and rejuvenate. I would invite my family over to my duplex apartment and it is an annual occasion where I would prepare a dinner for them. I haven't thought about it as yet but I would imagine I might wish to travel to Paris next year for a European Christmas.
But, if there is a chance to travel before Christmas next year, I'd want to go to Kyoto. It's one of my favourite cities, but more importantly, it is where my latest project Hotel The Mitsui is located. It opened in November and despite all the digital efforts to monitor the works, I am keen to see it in person. I would also like to go to London, where I have a few ongoing projects, and Beijing, where I've set up a new showroom for Andre Fu Living."
