Never say no to a cookie from Oui Ooi - a combination of the French word for "yes" and baker/owner Jiselle Ooi's family name. The Le Cordon Bleu-trained baker created a range of upscale cookies made with good- quality ingredients and no preservatives. It's a bit late for Chinese New Year cookies but her pineapple cookies are a delicious riff on pineapple tart and crispy fruit crumble. Also good are the hebi hiam or spicy dried prawn and sesame. There's also a "regular" cookie range that includes bestsellers such as chocolate mint, chocolate chip and honey Earl Grey.
