WHEN it comes to princesses, witches and big bad wolves, nobody does it better than Disney as it masterfully brings Stephen Sondheim's Tony-winning Broadway musical Into The Woods - a fairy-tale-gone-wrong mash-up of the Grimm Brothers' classics - to life on the big screen.

Even without a happily-ever-after, there is still that comforting and familiar sense of magic that one would expect from the House of the Mouse.

Most of that comes from the ensemble cast, led by Meryl Streep in Oscar form, hamming it up as a cranky witch who puts a curse on a childless baker (James Corden) and his wife (Emily Blunt).
