Eco-warrior paints doomsday picture
AN Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power arrives at a critical moment in the history of the world. Climate change, backed by scientific evidence in the form of rising average temperatures, warming oceans and melting ice sheets, is high on global agendas but somehow, it has taken a back seat to an even-more compelling drama - the reality show that is the Donald Trump presidency.
Former US vice president Al Gore has a far less forceful personality when it comes to holding an audience, but he does pretty well in taking on the mantle of eco-warrior on a mission to save the planet.
In An Inconvenient Sequel, Mr Gore stays firmly on topic by alerting people to the dangers of climate change, urging anyone who will listen - from schoolchildren to political leaders - about the need to reduce greenhouse gases.
