Essential oils are the special ingredient in spa treatments or zen-inducing aromatherapy. But what about adding them to your roast chicken or beef stew for dinner?
Young Living is well known for its range of essential oils used mainly to treat everything from sore joints to mental fatigue. Now it's launched its Plus dietary range that's perfect for cooking.
Choose from lemon, peppermint, rosemary, dill and celery seed, and use them like you would the real thing. Just a few drops saves you the hassle of chopping and zesting and there's no wastage. Peppermint is good for desserts; celery seed gives poultry a boost; dill and rosemary add fragrance and flavour. Just remember that not all oils are created equal - they must be 100 per cent pure and food grade like these are.
